The memory foam inside is CertiPUR-US® certified foam, made without formaldehyde, ozone depleters, mercury, lead or other heavy metals, and phthalates regulated by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Certified foams are also screened for relevant chemicals, including flame retardants, that are classified as carcinogens, mutagens or reproductive toxins and are harmful to human health, and have low VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million). Foam samples are taken at the manufacturing stage and are analyzed by independent, accredited laboratories. The mattress ships directly to your doorstep. It takes 2 to 4 hours for the mattress to expand most of the way and a day to expand fully. Includes a removable stretch knit diamond patterned cover. Box spring or foundation is optional.
